Christchurch Regatta - Saturday, 1st June. Help with Stake Boats.

Received from Christchurch Regatta Committee -

Christchurch Rowing Club would like to open the invite for volunteers from all clubs to help out at our regatta in the stake boats. This is open to all rowers and their family members and we would greatly appreciate your help.

These are the boats which hold the racing crews on the start line till the race begins. You work in pairs with one person at the front of the boat holding the racing boats stern and the other in the back balancing the boat. You have a great view of the racing action.

NB: Meet in front of the boat house 15 mins before your allocated time so we can arrange boats to switch people over. Buoyancy aids must be worn. Sun block / umbrellas may be useful - Got to love the British weather! - Sign up here.
