Southsea Regatta, Saturday, 15th July 2023. Postponed.

Message from James Barwell Southsea R. C. Captain.

Unfortunately we have decided to cancel Southsea regatta this weekend.

Conditions have been bad here all week with the forecast for Saturday worse and still deteriorating (Now gusts of 40+mph). Therefore we are making the decision slightly earlier than normal.

In better news we are going to try and reschedule for Saturday 12th August. We have already been able to confirm that most of the resources we need will be available for this date. Currently this is subject to approval from the city council and the availability of an umpires launch.

We hope to be able to confirm over the next few days. As a heads up I will be looking for clubs to re submit their entries by Friday 21st July.
