Alex is aware of the decreasing quality of the filming of the previous three regattas (Woolston, Swanage and Poole) after an initially good start to the season. Alex and his team appreciate that no-one has been rude about the matter but he has now spoken to a number of HDARA members who have expressed their concern or disappointment about the filming. The complaints have been mostly aimed at missing the race start, a lack of footage for crews on the outside of the course and not filming the crews at the back of the race.
To rectify the problem, Alex will be back on the camera full-time at BTC where AB Videography will also be selling everything at 50% of the usual price (he had taken most of the regatta season off this year but did film Christchurch). Rachel will be back in the fold supporting Alex at BTC, Newport and Bournemouth. Therefore, expect the quality of the filming to be back up to 2016/17 standards for those regattas.
