Latest from 2018 SCC Organising Committe.

Latest from 2018 SCC from Deal R. C. - hopefully you have all received. Entries close tomorrow - 20th August - no late entries.

"Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen,

My apologies for the mistake in the sort code. It should read 20-54-25.

I have attached corrected Entry form and Payment advice.

For clarification, the Open Masters races include:

LADIES MASTERS 40+ COXED FOUR

MASTERS COXED FOURS 40+

AND MASTERS COXED FOURS 50+

Our invitation email was not clear and only mentioned two 40+ events.

Also in the Junior Events, the SCC Rules do now allow one girl rower in the Boys J16 4x+ and Boys J14 4x+

Our apologies for the confusion and further information about the alternative courses, prize giving location, etc will be sent out next week.

Kind regards

Peter

Peter Darlington

BOURNEMOUTH REGATTA at POOLE, Saturday, 4th August, 2018.

BOURNEMOUTH REGATTA at POOLE, Saturday, 4th August, 2018.

On behalf of the Executive Officers of the Hants & Dorset Amateur Rowing Association and all the Associations affiliated Clubs we would like to thank all of Poole Rowing Club – but in particular Pete Jacobs and Sue Sothcott – for organising and running this year’s Bournemouth Regatta at the Hamworthy Park, Poole, venue on behalf of the Bournemouth Rowing Club and the Association.

Some of us know only two well how difficult it is to organise one regatta in a season - let alone three – if you include Swanage - where Poole make a major contribution. The Poole members involved did a great job – and ensured a full program of Hants & Dorset Championship Regattas took place.

With the thanks of the Association.

Steve Bull, Association Secretary.
