Event dates - 2021.

In order to establish as early as possible and with the aim of having firm dates for all 2021 Events by the AGM/Autumn Council Meeting could all Event Secretaries please provide me with their ideal 2021 Regatta/Head/Junior Event date – plus an alternative date - by 31st July, 2020 at the very latest. This will allow us time to, where possible, resolve any conflicts prior to the AGM/Delegates meeting and to submit provisional Regatta dates to British Rowing for inclusion in their Regatta planning, which is undertaken in early August each year. Please note – at the Autumn Council Meeting of March, 2013 it was agreed that two dates must be given – failure to do so putting an events request at risk – and priority to others events requesting their date.

We have not been to produce the usual tide table for 2021 this year as they have not been published in the British Rowing Almanack – our usual source of information. For the latest tide times, tables and information they recommend –

PLEASE NOTE NO REGATTA DATES FOR 2021 WILL BE ACCEPTED BEFORE 1st JULY, 2020 - ANY REQUESTS FOR SPECIFIC DATES RECEIVED PRIOR TO 1st JULY WILL BE RECORDED AS HAVING BEEN RECEIVED ON THE 1st JULY.

(As agreed at the Autumn Delegates meeting of 19th November, 1994.)

The appropriate form can be dowloaded from the H&D ARA WEb Site at - www.hdada.co.uk - go to EVENTS and then CHAMPIONSHIP REGATTAS and scroll down.

 S. Bull,

 Joint Association Secretary.
